According to the agreement reached at the 2nd Meeting of the Academic and Research Council, in Madrid on the 31st of May 2008, efforts are currently underway to extend the economic and financial support by the incorporation of reliable public and private entities into the Social Council.

The Universities of the Consortium, the Direction Council and the Cabinet & Coordination of EMUI contribute with significant economic and especially humane capital that is worthy of acknowledgement.

As far as the Universities of the Consortium is concerned, and by virtue of the corresponding agreements, they undertake part of the teaching activity in the EMUI's programmes at charge to their budgets and in accordance they have proportional representation at the Social Council.
