The communitarian institutions, the conferences of rectors and university consortia, as well as the experts informs alert to the urgent need to design quality programmes for university professors training, in order to fill the sort-term scarcity of the EU universities and research centres that predictions indicate. The EMUI, giving priority to this objective, offers the following:

Fellowship Award Programme
POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS
Senior Fellowships. For PhD’s

These Fellowships are intended for junior post-docs purposing an academic career and who want to improve their teaching and professional skills.

Fellowships are open to candidates who have recently received their doctorates in economics, social and political sciences, law or history, and wish to pursue an academic career, focused on topics concerning the Mediterranean Area.

PRE-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS
Junior Fellowships. For PhD Candidates

This program is adressed to PhD Candidates who are planning an academic career and are interested in improving their teaching and professional skills.

This Fellowships are open to candidates who have recently received their degree in higher education in economics, social and political sciences, law or history, and wish to pursue a doctorate, especially interested in topics concerning the Mediterranean Area.

The EMUI will negotiate Junior and Senior Fellowships in collaboration with public and privat institutions, in the area of member and non member states of the European Union.

Visiting Researchers

The EMUI will temporarily include in its Research Body Visiting Researchers (Senior and Junior), under the condition that the Fellowships they already enjoy permits it, or by virtue of specific own or external announcements. During this period, Visiting Researchers will be considered EMUI Researchers, for academic, teaching and research purposes. Researcher Application »»»

Research Body

The Research Teaching Body consists of a) EMUI Researchers (Senior and Junior), b) Associated Researchers (Senior and Junior), and c) Visiting Researchers (Senior and Junior). The EMUI selects its Researchers among the Associated Researchers, according to proved quality and excellence. If the candidate obtains an Externally Funded Fellowship, she/he can also accede to the position of EMUI Researcher »»». It is possible to opt for a post of Associated Researcher in anytime of year.
