CALL FOR PARTICIPATION_ INFO

The entries published in the Edition 2009 (Tomos 1-4, Editorial Plaza y Valdés, Madrid and México), continue to have the relative validity that confers the moment of their writing, both at the level of co-author and political-social determinant circumstances. Although the changes in the theoretical-scientific corpus little has changed in relation to certain terms, the natural evolution of events forces to revise most of these entries. Respecting the reading that bases the writing of certain terms, written by coauthors already deceased, we consider, however, that these still valid as reference, with an important historiographic value. So we continue to refer to them.

The reality (and the perception of it) has certainly changed over the last decades, forcing the redefinition of concepts and terms, if not to incorporate new ones into the corresponding theoretical corpus (political, media and academic). What, from a critical position, we intend to update with this edition.

The web page that broadcasts on-line a sample of the thousand entries in conventional edition, has received a million and a half long visits (2009-2017). Sufficient indicator, among other indexes, of the interest that the work has generated.

The edition that is announced is a research project of  EMUI_ EuroMed University, to which the institutions that are part of its Academic Council are associated.

For the foregoing reasons we have opened a period for the submission of originals, in accordance with the following:

RULES OF PARTICIPATION

1.- LANGUAGES OF THE TEXT: Option a) German, Spanish, French or Italian, and certified translation into English; Option b) English, and certified translation into German, Spanish, French or Italian.

2.- EXTENSION: Characters with space: max 11,500 / version

3.- BIBLIOGRAPHIC CITATIONS: APA Citation Guide

4.- BRIEF CURRICULUM VITAE: Characters with space: max 600. (It is essential to indicate current professional or academic status, e-mail (/ personal page)

Las entradas que aparecen en la  Edición_ 2009 (Tomos 1-4, Editorial Plaza y Valdés, Madrid y México), siguen teniendo la relativa vigencia que les confiere el momento de su redacción, tanto a nivel de coautor como de circunstancias político-sociales determinantes. Si bien los cambios en el corpus teórico-científico poco ha cambiado en relación con determinados términos, la natural evolución de los acontecimientos obliga a revisar la mayoría de estas entradas.Respetando la lectura que fundamenta la redacción de ciertos términos, escritos por coautores ya fallecidos, consideramos, sin embargo, que éstos siguen vigentes como referencia, con un importante valor historiográfico. Por lo que seguimos remitiendo a ellos.

La realidad (y la percepción que de ella se tiene) ha ido, ciertamente, cambiando en los últimos  decenios, obligando a redefinir conceptos y términos, cuando no a incorporar nuevos a los correspondientes corpus teóricos (políticos, mediáticos y académicos). Lo que, desde una posición crítica, nos proponemos actualizar con esta edición.

La edición que se anuncia es un proyecto de investigación del EMUI_ EuroMed University, al que están asociadas las instituciones que forman parte de su Consejo Académico.

Por las razones precedentes abrimos un plazo de presentación de originales, de acuerdo con las siguientes:

3.- CITAS BIBLIOGRÁFICAS: Modelo APA Citation Guide

4.- BREVE CURRICULUM VITAE: Caracteres con espacio: max 600. (Imprescindible indicar status profesional o académico actual, correo electrócico (/página personal)
